Micro Sensor 1.8™是在运动测量领域，保持创新的领头羊——Polhemus公司最新的科技突破。这个六自由度微型传感器采用Polhemus专有的交流电磁技术，重量不到1克，外径尺寸只有1.8毫米。这个传感器可选两种外型：标准的或扁平的；所带线缆可以是柔软的也可以是稍硬带些弹性的。图示左侧，Micro Sensor 1.8 Flex （扁头微型传感器）正连接着一个定制的Micro Mounts（传感器集线盒），这样可以使传感器容易被拉出和放回； 右边，是放在手中的微型传感器。

轻巧的传感器仍然具有强悍的功能，它能以240Hz（每秒240次）采集自己运动的位置和方位。
